Answer: Rhetoric represents the art of speech communication for the practical purpose of convincing the interlocutor.

Explanation:

The purpose of rhetoric or general speaking is to strive for successful communication. This form of expression can be oral and written. This skill throughout history is in the traces of many peoples, but it is primarily originated and developed in Greek. As a practice, it was spread by sophists (who knew how to misuse rhetoric and excessive eloquence in rhetorical appearances for party disputes and quarrels). In Athens, during the rule of democracy, every citizen could stand out because he had free speech. Homer was regarded as the father of rhetoric, and many saw role models in him.

Scrat [10]

We can actually infer here that the sentence that best states how the character of Hayashi develops over the course of the text is: D. Hayashi struggles with his feelings for Tama, but he realizes that she is worth fighting for.

What is character?

Character actually refers to the personality of someone. In literature, characters are known to be individuals who are seen in a story or drama and who make up the plot of the story.

In The Reincarnation of Tama by Yei Theodora Ozaki, we see that Tama was known to be a beautiful girl. She was also seen as a gifted child. People compared Tama to a morning-glory.

This is one of the reasons why Hayashi realized that Tama was worth fighting for.

Do you think Romeo and Juliet could've of ended differently? And why
marshall27 [118]
Yes, it could've ended differently if the two families came to an understanding with each other. This would've changed the fact that Romeo and Juliet die, since you know, they were trying their best to get married secretly in fear that their families would continue fighting (maybe kill someone else).
