Basically, the Cultural Revolution was that Mao Zedong, the Former Chairman of the Communist Party of China, wanted a classless society. Following this, Mao launched the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution.

His thoughts called<em> 'The Little Red Book'</em> became some sort of Bible for most if not all Chinese Communists. He soon created a group called the 'Red Guards' to go throughout China and eliminate the <em>'Four Olds'</em> which was a term used to refer to the attempts of Communists to destroy Chinese cultures and beliefs.

- Old culture, customs, and habits.

They were commanded to destroy temples, music, any books, and they were instead replaced street signs with revolutionary names. Many citizens were displeased with this policy.

Question 11: I'm guessing number 4, since the reform movements that arose during the antebellum period in America focused on specific issues: temperance, abolishing imprisonment for debt, pacifism, antislavery, abolishing capital punishment, amelioration of prison conditions

Question 12: Spoils system, also called patronage system, practice in which the political party winning an election rewards its campaign workers and other active supporters by appointment to government posts and by other favors. So it would be number 3

What form of protest was organized by James L. Farmer, Jr.?
juin [17]

Answer:

James L. Farmer, Jr, was the organizer of the Freedom Rides.

Explanation:

Freedom Rides were a form of resistance that emerged from the civil rights movement. The so-called Freedom Riders helped abolish state-sanctioned racial segregation by taking suburban buses to the southern states to implement the Supreme Court's rulings that prohibited segregation in public transport, restaurants, and waiting rooms.

The first Freedom Ride, led by James L. Farmer Jr. left Washington, D.C. on May 4, 1961 towards New Orleans. The joint drive of whites and blacks provoked violent protests, gave rise to the civil rights movement and first made American citizens and later the whole world aware of the problem. Participants were arrested in part for trespassing, unlawful assembly, and violations of state and local laws.

Describe how the Catholic Church was corrupt during the Middle Ages and into the Renaissance. ( examples).
Natali5045456 [20]

The Catholic Church became corrupted, due to its overgrown power. Because of the Pope's overspendings, the Pope started the Sales of Indulgences. The Sales of Indulgences was a scheme to earn more money. It made people spend money so that they/family members go into heaven. This upsetted a reformer, Martin Luther. That started the Reformation. So in summery, the Catholic Church gained to much power ( more than the nobility) and it wanted more money. BTW, this only a little bit of it.
