We have learned more about what works and what doesn't, seeing the different economic systems that have failed when put into practice and the ones that have thrived. such as communist russia, and other socialist programs. The monopoly of the 1800s and early 1900s that took over capitalist america. We have seen what works and what doesn't and this is our greatest influence.

I'm assuming you are talking about World War 2. Many Japanese Americans made speeches before and during the war about supporting their country and how America was wrong. Americans started to think that the Japanese would give information back to their country or that they were secretly spying for info. As a result, most Japanese Americans were moved to relocation camps or internment camps and weren't allowed to be in the army or hold jobs.
