Hamilton described the movement's characteristics writing, “Pop art is: Popular (designed for a mass audience), Transient (short-term solution), Expendable (easily forgotten), Low cost, Mass produced, Young (aimed at youth), Witty,Gimmicky, Glamorous, Big business.”
Pop-art is a cultural and artistic movement that belongs to the contemporary art and was founded in the ’60s, in 20th century.
The name literally means <em>popular art.</em> The goal of the artists that were significant for this era wasn’t to create new things, but to remodel already existent pieces, in a <em>sophisticated</em>, yet <em>ironical</em> way. Their mind was set on the <em>commercialized things</em> that were <em>mass produced</em> and imposed by the many. They were playing with <em>boundaries</em> that were set by the<em> society</em>, but in a classy, sophisticated way, leaving everything they had touched golden and turning it into <em>high-end genre</em>.
personal fulfillment. To much or to less of it will either make or break a person. To much personal fulfillment can create a sense of pride if that and without personal fulfillment a person's confidence and/or self-esteem will be non-existent.
