The correct answer is D. : he was raised under the conditions of extreme poverty.  An example showing his poverty was the fact that he was born in a log cabin, which he could use to gain people's favourable opinion of him.

Being this poor, he could not afford a good education (option A is false), and favoured smaller farmers rather than planter aristocracy (option B is false). He was not impeached, but failed to secure a nomination for re-election from the Democrats.(option C is false)

Which of the following was an effect of nativism in the United States in the 1920s?
bearhunter [10]
First question: D- people who were living in America at the time, didn't want other people to come in and "steal their jobs". To me, nativism (at the time) was a pretty stupid thing, considering how many of the people who didn't want anyone else coming into the country, were immigrants themselves.

Second question: D is the closest answer, seeing as Roosevelt wanted to improve relations with Central and South America.

Hope this helps!

What political issues divided alexander hamilton and thomas jefferson?
Leona [35]
Alexander Hamilton was a Federalist. Thomas Jefferson was a Democratic Republican. There are many differences between the 2. Jefferson opposed Hamilton's concept that the depts. of the revolutions should be shared equally by the states ---- Jefferson proposed that each state be responsible only for its own dept.

Hope this helped. Have a great day! :D

Thomas Jefferson. Now I just have to make this "at least 20 characters to explain it well". I'm not entirely sure how to explain Thomas Jefferson more though.
