A time that free speech was violated was during Jim Crow in the US. Citizens, black or white, were not allowed to speak out against Jim Crow and try to change the laws. It was illegal to try and gain equal rights for everyone.

Yes, I myself have bad attitude and I know several of my friends that have bad attitude. It was like getting stung by a bee I did not like the way they were treating me and I was talking so calmly to them and they were still being mean even though I didn't even do anything to them to hurt them. Everyday I would say hi to them and they would disregard it :(

Well from that point on I just stopped hanging around them because hanging around mean people just isn't worth my time anymore to be frank.
