The Warren Wagon Train raid was an incident between the US Army and a group of Native American Warriors which occurred on the path that led to forts in the West of Texas on May 18, 1871. The wagoneers have put the task to deploy supplies to these forts. However, after encountering a group of warriors in the way, the wagoneers were attacked by the Native American Warriors. Seven wagoneers were killed.
After the incident, the 3 suspects named Satanta (White Bear), Satank (Sitting Bear) and Ado-ete (Big Tree) put into custody. On their way to their trial, Satank attempted to escape and was killed. The other two were tried and convicted with murder.
