None of the states could reach common ground on important ideas. For example, the south had much different needs than the north due to their economies. After long discussions they made compromise and both parties left the table with their needs fulfilled.
The Framers were suspicious of a government that might take away people's freedoms or supports several organizations. At the same time, they recognized that the country required a powerful administration than the Articles of Confederation had given. Their aim was to set a limited command, in which the authorities of government are rigorously determined. A restricted administration has only those authorities that are given to it by the personalities.
The significant difficulty that the framers encountered when placing out to address the Constitution was to generate a document and a system of government that could be comprehensive of all of the aspects and perspectives of the representatives and states associated in the convention.
