The link between economic and political development in the last years is crucial. This is because a country must develop and adapt its politics according to the development in economy it <u>wishes to perceive</u>.

Examples of this, are countries like Russia and China, who have removed <u>import barriers</u> in order to compete with the new world, but this happened only thanks to an economic interest of the nation. Every country pursues economic growth to adjust itself to political and global order.
