It is called proactive interference.
it is simply the tendency for previously learned information,material and knowlidgeto hinder acquisition and leraning of new information. it exhibits in difficulty when you are faced with a new but simple incident,and you are not willing to learn it because you believe you are already informed.
Maybe because of the different cultures and art tendencies that had to have varied in different regions of Greece?
