The strongest military to date would be the United States. For many reasons, the United States has the largest navy which consists of 430 ships and 11 of them being nuclear powered aircraft carriers, to which only the U.S. and the French have to this date. Also, the United states has the largest air force, There are currently over 7,000 planes in the air force! The next 7 countries combined is the equal to that. Also, on top of that the U.S. has some of the latest and greatest technology being one of the top spending countries on military. On top of all of this, the marines and army consists of over 200 tanks, plus strykers, and many other heavy weaponry that all together, could defend the country from half the world. All together, the U.S. has one of the most active troop count in the world next to russia, to where if needed, can be deployed around the world in a matter of days.

It would be the US military. We have the largest aircraft carriers and the fastest fighter jets. We do not have the largest land army (China does) but we can easily beat them w the best tanks we have!
