The Marshall Plan was an American initiative to aid Western Europe, in which the United States gave over $13 billion to help rebuild Western European economies, so the major purpose of the Marshall Plan was to provide aid for European countries which had been damaged. The support was coming from the United States in 1948 and was intended to repair war-devastated regions, remove trade barriers, modernize industry, make Europe prosperous again and stop the spread of Communism.

Discuss the howard debater's argument that "prison is a dark gift"
Lera25 [3.4K]

Based on Howard debater’s argument that “prison is a dark gift” is that it could be a way of saying that prison could be viewed in a positive way in which it is not only a negative way to be seen at as this is an opportunity for every individual who were put to prison in a way that they have the opportunity to reflect and learn about the things that could be made different if they hadn't done the first thing that they were drag in the prison on the first place. It somehow says that prison is a time of having to give a person to reflect about what occur in the past and to think of what could he or she possibly do in the future after learning the mistakes that he or she has done.
