Hi !

Elles finissent les devoirs

finir (verbe du deuxième groupe en -ir)
je finis
tu finis
il/elle/on finit
nous finissons
vous finissez
ils/elles finissent

all the verbs -ir with that kind of conjugation "-issons, issez, issent" are 2nd group

the other verbs -ir are third group as dormir (nous dormons, vous dormez, ils dorment)

hope it helped !

Ket [755]

Bonjour,

Jacob: x

Mila: x+120

Nathan: 2(x+120) = 2x+240

x+x+120 + 2x+240 = 1 600

4x+ 360 = 1 600

4x = 1 600- 360

4x = 1 240

x= 1 240/4 = 310

Jacob: 310

Mila : 310 + 120 = 430

Nathan:  430*2 = 860

310 + 430 + 860 + 1 600

Give at least two reasons why French and English have so many words that look and/or sound similar.
Sladkaya [172]

Answer:

1) The French and English languages are related in a sense, because French is a Romance language descended from Latin with English influences.

2) French was the language of diplomacy and the people of Normandy brought a lot of words over with the when they invaded England in 1066.
