How might manifest destiny later affect u.s. relations with native americans?
drek231 [11]
Manifest destiny was about expanding westward. This meant that the US believed that they should take the land that was populated by Natives. It made the relations worse because many didn't want to leave their homeland and some even fought wars. Those who did go to reservations often died on the way there because the journey was dreadful.

puteri [66]

Answer:

supported a non-communist government

Explanation:

The involvement of the USA in the Korean conflict was because of two reasons, one being to stop the communist spreading and influence, the other was to gain control over this very important strategic peninsula.

In order to not allow the communism to take over the peninsula, the USA got involved military, supporting the non-communist government from the South, fighting against the Soviet and Chinese supported communist North. Since non of the big forces managed to win, the Korean Peninsula was divided into spheres of interest, with North Korea being the communist one, and the South Korea being the capitalist one, thus dividing the same people in two different countries that developed deep hatred between each other.
