Geography is basically focusing more on the world and where cities and states are. Like how you probably learned in elementary what and where the 7 continents are.
History is everything in the past like the presidents, suffrage, slavery and all that.

You need to know some geography to know where and when that point in History is and you need to know some History for Geography.

Both rely on each other heavily and influence each other heavily.
