The correct answer is B. To recommend someone for a job

Explanation:

The word persuasion refers to the process of influencing the beliefs, and motivations of people usually by convincing someone of believing a certain idea or doing something. Additionally, in writing persuasion is achieved by providing reasons or details that explain the reader or audience why the idea of the author should be believed. Considering persuasion focuses on influencing in different ways the audience or reader it can use for multiple specific purposes related to politics, environment, society, culture, among others.

In the case presented the author first describes one positive features of Shaquille Johnson using words "outstanding man of character" and then adds he or she believes because this Shaquille Johnson would be "valuable addition to any company", which shows the author of this text aims at showing the reader the reasons why Shaquille Johson is an ideal worker for the company and therefore should be hired. This means the specific purpose of this text is to recommend someone (Shaquille Johnson) for a job.

What is a prominent theme in romanticism
zimovet [89]
There are many themes in romanticism but in my personal opinion the prominent theme would be that of emotion in its naturalist state. I can not guarantee you that each and every scholar agrees on this but inspiration and connecting emotionally with nature is what Romanticism heavily relied on.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions or would like further explanation just let me know! :)
