<span>white males who owned property and paid taxes

Females were not allowed to vote until 1920. This eliminates option 1. Political party affiliation was never a requirement for voting in the presidential election. It is necessary for the primaries, but that is not what this question is asking. Eventually all white male citizens over the age of 21 were allowed to vote, but not before 1820. In 1971 the voting age change to 18 primarily due to protests during the Vietnam War. When the voting requirements were determined by the states, each state could determine who had the right to vote. Many states required voters to own property and/or pay taxes. In 1856, North Carolina was the last state to remove property ownership as a requirement for voters.

Answer:

B, semi-autobiographical

Explanation:

'A farewell to Arms' is a novel by Ernest Hemingway set during the Italian campaign of World War I. It was first published in 1929.

It is a story of an American ambulance driver who falls for a beautiful English nurse. It is a first-person account of the American, Frederic Henry, serving as lieutenant.

Hemingway used his own personal experience during his time serving in the Italian campaign as the base of the novel, however, there were also many fictional elements which makes the novel semi-autobiographical.

White Fang (excerpt)
EastWind [94]

I believe it would be A.

In the White Fang excerpt, it describes the animals pulling the sled as "wolfish dogs" with bristly fur and harnesses. The sled dog history also says they are "certainly part wolf", and also of mixed breeds.
