Centrally located-- Germany, when invading, can go in any direction in Europe and has a central location to resupply.

German offensives have gone into France, Belgium, Poland, and Czechoslovakia in addition to other areas. Germany can invade and resupply with resources and men as needed. This has allowed Germany to make quick gains in conquest especially during World War I and II.

Germany's geographic location was an advantage when it was on the offensive in the war as it was a central location which was surrounded by a lot of politically unstable countries and in addition, the allies had to cross a river to get to them.

Explanation:

Despite the geographical advantage, Germany was still not able to defeat the Allied forces because they had better military equipment, tanks and many other technologies. Following the completion of the war, a conference was upheld in Potsdam, Germany, to set up harmony agreements. The nations that opposed with Hitler lost area and had to pay restitution to the Allies. Germany and its capital Berlin were partitioned into four segments.
