Appeasement allowed them to have peace and no conflict for a while which is a good outcome of appeasement. Lord Halifax even promoted appeasement because it allowed them to prepare for the war which happened within a year.

some believed women didn't produce much in the world and were not capable of doing so. *(this opinion was mainly because most women of that age worked in the house)
*little known fact: lots of women were against women suffrage because that would mean they would have to get drafted and fight in the war
