H.H.Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan has spent 30 years in command of the UAE and has made investment in quality education throughout the country a top priority.

He followed the philosophy that stated that a rich and imposing country was formed by well-trained, educated and trained people, that is, he believed that a well-educated people would be successful and that would reflect in the country.

In this regard, he established comprehensive education from kindergarten to university, completely free of charge, for boys and girls. It allowed the formulation of a private education system, at the same academic level as public education and financed the exchange of students abroad.

As a result, the UAE has an illiteracy rate of less than 10%.

Which of the following groups was NOT one of Southern Africa’s early settlers?
makvit [3.9K]
he history of South Africa is characterized by racial and political violence, territorial conflict, wars of conquest, and inter-ethnic rivalry. The aboriginal Khoi and San lived in the region for millennia. Most of the rest of the population trace their history to later immigration. Africans (also referred to as Bantu) in South Africa are descendants of migrants from central Africa, who first entered southern Africa about 2000 years ago. White South Africans are descendants of later European settlers, mainly from the Netherlands, Germany, France and Britain. The large population of Coloureds, as they were officially classified, are descended at least in part from all of these groups, as well as from slaves imported from Madagascar, East Africa and the then Dutch East Indies. The discoveries of diamonds and gold in the 19th Century had a profound effect on the fortunes of the region, propelling it onto the world stage and introducing a shift away from an exclusively agrarian-based economy towards industrialization and the development of urban infrastructure. The discoveries also led to new conflicts including open warfare between the Boer settlers and imperial Britain. South Africa was under an official system of racial segregation and white minority rule from 1948 known as Apartheid, until its first egalitarian elections on 27 April 1994, when the African National Congress came to power and dominated the politics of the country in alliance with the South African Communist Party and the Congress of South African Trade Unions.

Speaker 1: Now that we are independent, Americans should create a government that mirrors the government of Great Britain.
Monica [59]

Answer:

A. Speaker 2

Explanation:

The Articles of Confederation is known as the first written American constitution. It has its origins in times of war, also, its development was delayed since people were afraid of central authority and states demanded their lands, until it was sanctioned on March 1, 1781. These articles recognized the states' sovereignity and independency, leaving Congress as an auxiliary resource to solve certain issues, and not having the power to collect taxes or mint money. It was a weak central government, which eventually led to the Constitutional Convention in 1787 that modified and elaborated new federal laws.
