Answer:  a declaration of war against Japan.

Explanation:

Japan attacked the US base at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.  On December 8, the United States declared war on Japan.  Italy and Germany both declared war on the United States on December 11, to defend Japan, as they had signed the Tripartite Pact of mutual defense of one another.  That same day (Dec. 11), the United States then declared war against Germany and Italy.

What recommendations would you provide to Athenian citizens who wished to limit the negative elements of democracy?
Katena32 [7]

Answer:

The answer is stated below.

Explanation:

Athens considered to be the birthplace of democracy during the 5th and 4th centuries B.C. there was a  system of government in which all male citizens had political rights, freedom of speech and the ability to be personally involved in the polity of the state. However, it should be noted that slaves, women, and children were excluded from the rank of citizens. And therefore I would recommend involving these groups in the political process to achieve a true sense of democracy.
