Anvil is a tool used by blacksmiths, and it is the surface on which the object is placed which is worked on with a hammer- stroked  with a hammer.
von Bülow meant (in 1899)  that Germany will either have to colonize others ( be the hammer) or it would have to risk being colonized itself (being the anvil), hence showing the need for Germany to participate in colonization.

(Explain) Describe two ways in which Japans geography affected Japanese society?
VLD [36.1K]

Answer:

Japan's seclusion affected their culture

Explanation:

Japan is an island and because of that they didn't have a lot of interaction with other countries, they were left alone by other countries and war was mostly between dynasties. Society had a large focus on art because of all of peace that came with their radio silence with neighboring countries.

Feel free to correct me on anything because I haven't studied Japan in a while lol

Why did Jesús give himself as the sacrifice for out sins(i just want to know :/ )
DerKrebs [107]
God sacrificed his Son, Jesus, so we would be able to live forever. As of now we are living in a world the devil controls, but when we live under Christ’s Kingdom, we will never die.

Good question by the way! :)
