Answer:

Planning the story, create a draft, correct and publish story.

Explanation:

Although short stories have a beginning, middle and end, they are of a shorter brevity and there is always a message to give. Short stories require an exhaustive simplification because we must transmit the message and avoid losing the attention of the reader. I recommend 4 steps for writing one. Step 1: Plan the story, from creating the characters, environments, internal time (weather, whether it is day or night, time) among other narrative elements. Step 2: Write a draft version. Step 3: Correction process, where the history should be re-read to determine if there are spelling or grammar errors and to apply the necessary corrections at the same time that the punctuation and spelling are verified. Step 4: Publication.

The process of writing a successful short story is long and can often be complicated. The first thing to do is begin to plan the story. You need to come up with a general idea of the plot. The most important factor to consider is what your conflict is, and why this conflict should interest the reader. You should also plan who your characters are and how they will behave.

One you have a general plan of the story you should create a draft. You need to have an exposition, a rising action, a climax and a falling action with a conclusion. You need to build suspense about the conflict, and develop the characters' personalities.

If you are satisfied with your draft, the next step is revision. You should read your draft several times in order to make sure it has no mistakes and the story is compelling. It is a good idea to get other people to read your draft as well.

Finally, after these steps are completed, you are ready to publish your story.

_____ is a characteristic of realism. honest portrayal exaggeration melodrama romanticized life experience
melisa1 [442]

The correct option is “honest portrayal”. Realism is an artistic style that emerged in the 19th century in France, especially in painting and writing. The main purpose of realism is to portray accurately real life and places. Realism is opposed to the Romantic movement so the option “romanticized life experience” is not a characteristic of realism. Exaggeration and melodrama are not related to Realism since it depicts reality in a detailed and honest perspective.
