The 1 is the digit in te hundredths place, so you need to look at the digit directly to the right of that, the 9.  When rounding, if the digit to the right pf the place you're rounding is 0-4, the number you're rounding stays the same, and all digits to the right become zeros. If that digit is 5-9, the digit you're rounding goes up to the next number, and all digits to the right become zeros.  So, because the digit to the right of the hundredths place is a 9, that tells you that the 1 has to go up to the next number in counting order, so the number 5.6192 becomes 5.62 when rounded to the hundredths place.

Answer:

  15. f(x) +g(x) = 7x +2

  16. f(x) -g(x) = -3x +8

  17. h(x) · g(x) = 35x -21

Step-by-step explanation:

Substitute the function definition for each function expression and simplify.

__

15. f(x) + g(x) = (2x +5) +(5x -3)

  f(x) +g(x) = 7x +2

__

16. f(x) - g(x) = (2x +5) -(5x -3)

  f(x) -g(x) = -3x +8

__

17. h(x) · g(x) = (7) · (5x -3)

  h(x) · g(x) = 35x -21

PLS ANSWER QUICK! Thanks!
ziro4ka [17]

Answer:

The correct answer would be a=\sqrt{c^2-b^2}

Step-by-step explanation:

given a^2+b^2=c^2 we want to solve for a

How?

We can do this by using basic algebra ( isolating the variable (a ))

Step 1 subtract b^2 from each side

a^2+b^2-b^2=a^2\\c^2-b^2=c^2-b^2

now we have a^2=c^2-b^2

step 2 take the square root of each side

\sqrt{a^2} =a\\\sqrt{c^2-b^2} =\sqrt{c^2-b^2}

we're left with a=\sqrt{c^2-b^2}

Hence your answer is A

Is sqrt(1 - sin^2 θ) = cos θ true? if so, in which quadrants does angle θ terminate?
jonny [76]

Answer:

  I and IV

Step-by-step explanation:

Since 1-sin(θ)² = cos(θ)², the given equation is equivalent to ...

  √(cos(θ)²) = |cos(θ)| = cos(θ)

This will be true where the cosine is non-negative, in the first and fourth quadrants.
