The Eastern Roman Empire’ capital is Byzantium; initially it was called Constantinople which is present day Istanbul.

Byzantine Empire practiced veneration of King and he is considered to be the representative of God. Byzantines believed that the emperor is vested with all the powers in selecting the popes or Patriarchs of Constantinople.

This belief that the king is superior to the church created a schism between the Latin Christians who believed that church is the ultimate power. The result of this divided faith led to iconoclastic belief which is against the worship of any human or images as God. Byzantine Empire became so fixed towards this belief which ended the byzantine life by the attacks of Ottoman Turks.

Was everyone in the Spanish colonies angry for the smae reasons
AleksAgata [21]

No. Society in the Spanish colonies was divided into a complex system of Castes. The peninsulares, i.e. Spaniards arrived from the Iberic Peninsula, were at the top, while the natives and black slaves were at the bottom, in the middle were the Criollos (children of Spanish parents but born in the Americas) and the Mestizos (children of a Spanish parent with a native) were in the middle. Each caste was angry for different reasons, the ones at the bottom (black and native slaves) wanted freedom, while criollos and mestizos wanted to be allowed into positions of power.

Tresset [83]

Answer:

This type of Media Bias is called Bias by Omission.

Explanation:

Bias by omission – leaving one side out of an article, or a series of articles over a period of time; ignoring facts that tend to disprove liberal or conservative claims, or that support liberal or conservative beliefs; bias by omission can occur either within a story, or over the long term as a particular news outlet reports one set of events, but not another. To find instances of bias by omission, be aware of the conservative and liberal perspectives on current issues. See if both the conservative and liberal perspectives are included in stories on a particular event or policy.
