For the first step you need to convert between feet in real life and feet in the cartoon drawing. 1/2 inch in cartoon is 3 feet in real life, so 1 foot in real life was 1/6 inch in cartoon. Her hair was 21 feet in real life, therefore it was 21/6, or 7/2 inches long in the cartoon. For the second step you need to explain what I just said, In your own words! Factor the following expression using the GCF. Type your factored expression below.
never [62]

Answer:

4(xy + 3w + 3z)

Step-by-step explanation:

The GCF is 4, so you can take that out and put it in front of the parentheses. Then you just divide all of the terms by 4 (4xy / 4 = xy; 12w / 4 = 3w; 12z / 4 = 3z), etc.

165/300 -> 55%
This doesn't make much sense though, either the question is out of context or there is some typo because empirical probability is based on results you get from an experiment and actually doing the trial, not on what happens mathematically

A train traveled a distance of 1 mile, or 5,280 feet, while climbing a hill at an angle of 5°.
Finger [1]
You can draw a right triangle where>

1) the distance traveled, i.e. 5280, is the hypotenuse

2) the opposite-leg is the vertical height that you need to calculate

3) the angle is 5°.

Therefore you can use the trigonometric ratio sine, which is:

sin(angle) = opposite-leg / hypotenuse = vertical height / distance traveled

= vertical height = distance traveled * sin (angle)

=> vertical height = 5,280 ft * sin(5°) = 460,18 ft

Answer: 460,18 ft
