The General at the Alamo was Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna on the Mexican side. On the Texas side (that lost) there were no generals (and both leaders of the battle died in action).

Third, when the British were at the top of the hill the Americans had used up all the gunpowder and they had to pull back, Finally, the battle was bloody with 1,000 Birtish killed or wounded and half of the Americans were killed or wounded.
