A. Slash and burn agriculture which is when farmers cut and burn down vegetation in a forest or woodland to farm later in that space. Then  you can farm there for 2-3 years and have to leave it fallow for 10-15 years. This happens in Brazil when the government moved the capital into the rain forest.

b. Regional agricultural independence is how do people depend on each other in given area. This applies to Brazil because since they do slash and burn agriculture they are always moving so they always have to be looking to trade with new people for meat.
