What's the main difference between fiction and nonfiction writing?

As you’ve already learned, fiction is a piece of writing that’s the product of someone’s imagination. Nonfiction, then is writing that’s not the product of someone’s imagination. In other words, nonfiction isn’t made up; it’s real.
