Let x be the unknown angle.
We know that x+50=120 because the value of an exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the other 2 interior angles.

x+50 = 120
Subtract both sides by 50
x = 70

The value of the unknown angle is 70 degrees.

Have an awesome day! :)

Hey there,
Angle RVU = 120 degrees
Angle TVU= 180 - 120 (Angles in a st line)
                 = 60 degrees
Angle TUV= 180 - 60 - 50 (Angle sum of triangle)
                 = 70 degrees

Hope this helps :)

Y+x=1 show whether x and y show direct variation

plzz helpp
Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

No

Step-by-step explanation:

Please write: "Determine whether y+x=1 shows direct variation."

No, it does not, because of the constant term, 1.

If we were to eliminate the 1 and write y + x = 0, then yes, this would represent direct variation.
