50-40 = 10 km/h which is the speed difference.

10 km/h = 1/6 km/min

In 12 minutes, it will travel 1/6 * 12 = 2 km = 2000 metres more.

Grandma baked 1.5 times as many pancakes as waffles. After she baked 45 more waffles, and her grandchildren ate 12 pancakes, the
Komok [63]

Step-by-step explanation:

let x represent the no of pancakes,

she baked 1.5 times pancakes more than waffles,

so from this, no of pancakes = 1.5x,

then she baked more 45 waffles,

no of waffles = (x +45)

so you had 1.5x pancakes and the children ate 12 out of them. the no of pancakes has then been reduced by 12.

thus, no of pancakes = ( 1.5x -12 )

now they see that they have 17 more waffles that pancakes left. this means that :

no of waffles - no of pancakes = 17

(x+45) - (1.5x - 12) = 17

x - 1.5x + 45 + 12 = 17

x = -50 / -0.5

x = 100

hence, there were 100 waffles initially.

hope you understand this,

-s.

Find the angle of the rotations for the graphs below. The center of rotation is the origin, and the darker image is the preimage
agasfer [191]

Answer:

  a. 90°

  b. 180°

  c. 180°

Step-by-step explanation:

For these problems there is a bit of a shortcut you can take. Each figure is entirely within one quadrant, and the rotation is said to be by 90° (one quadrant), 180° (two quadrants), or 270° (three quadrants) clockwise.

a. The image is in the adjacent clockwise quadrant, so rotation is 90°.

b, c. The image is in the diagonally opposite quadrant, so rotation is 180°.
