Answer:

The correct answer is: B: Intercultural communication barriers.

Explanation:

The reason comes from understanding what ethnocentrism is, and also what communication codes are, and are used for. Ethnocentrism is a concept that defines the act of a culture, or group of people, judging another from its preconcieved ideas, customs, traditions, and cultural characteristics. In essence, what happens in ethnocentrism is that a specific group of individuals with a common culture, believe themselves to be on top of all others, and judge everything from that standpoint, almost inferiorizing anything and everything done by someone outside of that superior culture. Included in that judgement falls language, and communication codes, related to ethnocentrism, are born as ways in which communication codes may make communication between different cultures really difficult as the code may be specific to the characteristics of one culture, and leaves out all others. As such, language then becomes more of a barrier, than an aid, in the understanding between people.

How does he react when he sees Juliet for the first time?(cite text)
suter [353]

When Romeo first saw Juliet, we could conclude that Romeo was smitten by her, or simply put, he experienced love at first sight. Romeo opens his monologue with "<em>she doth teach the torches to burn bright!</em>" After this, he uses language such as "<em>Like a rich jewel in an Ethiope's ear;</em>" and "<em>Did my heart love till now?</em>" Romeo is completely consumed with the sight of Juliet. He is incapable of seeing anything else.
