Milton, a candidate for mayor, believes that his opponent's staff is responsible for the prank. Spenser, Milton's opponent, often urges his supporters to wear the color orange to his rallies. "It's just the sort of thing Spenser would do," said Milton, "it's just like him to use symbolism in an attack." The police have yet to name a suspect. "We do not have evidence indicating that Mr. Spenser was part of the prank against Milton," said a spokesperson for the department. to describe events that occurred on July 13th to convince the audience to vote for Edmund Spenser to convince the audience to vote for John Milton to entertain the audience with a humorous story about a prank

Answer:

To describe events that occurred on July 13th.

Explanation:

In this text, the author tells us about the events that occurred on July 13th. We learn about the two candidates, about the prank, and about the relationship between Spenser and Milton. However, none of the information seems biased towards one candidate or another, and we learn about what the police thinks as well, which gives the article objectivity.

Why does Lebron James get paid so much money?
kaheart [24]

Answer:

Lebron is paid so much because of his economic value to the team, NBA, and city that he plays in. He is actually under-paid for his true value along with a few other superstars because of salary caps and maximum salaries allowed.

Explanation:

Basically In this era, the most important television properties are live events, that people want to see in real time without dvr-ing, because the advertisements are guaranteed to be seen by a huge audience. This is why television rights to sports are massive. The NBA is popular world wide (unlike American football) and their stars don’t wear helmets covering their face. The players are market-ball, recognizable and a single great player can bring a team into contention for a championship. Lebron is arguably the best player ever and so any fan of basketball, whether they like him or not, wants to see him. He has crossover appeal, so even non sports fans want to see him. There are only a handful of people in any industry that the whole world pays attention to and so, he gets paid a lot even if it’s no where near what he’s actually worth.

I hope this Helps! :)
