Answer:

Explanation:

1. Louisina coast is highly indented and going through lots of erosional activities by the waves. Plaquemines are also occurring along this coast.

2. Type of this coast is an emerging coast which is rising by 10 mm every year. But it is highly susceptible to erosional activities. We can call it alluvial coast as well .

3.  Waves here come with high speed and causes storms as well and thus are engaged in erosional actions very much.

4.  Mississippi river brings lots of sediments that gets deposited here.

5. There is depletion of wetlands. Erosion is also affected by the man made levees and other activities. Presence of canals and irrigation routes also aggravate this problem. To solve the problem, following steps have been taken -

Many projects have been implemented to restore the things here. There was done freshwater diversion where silt is reintroduced in the estuaries. New marsh grasses have been introduced to stop the problem. Mangrove trees are grown. Master plan has been developed by Louisiana State Coastal Restoration Authority to make strategy for future.

Which type of reef forms very closel to the shoreline of a volcanic island
ra1l [238]
They are called fringing reefs. They grow directly from shore and form borders along the shoreline. When a fringing reef continues to grow upward from a volcanic island that has sunk entirely below the sea level, an atoll is formed. Atolls are usually circular or oval in shape, with an open lagoon in the center. The fringing reef is the most common type of coral reef. They however tend to be very sensitive to human induced pollution in the water and are easily destroyed by such.
