One way would be for the stunt doubles.
Another would be to hide some props or people that mght be out of view, for later sences or later in the same sence.

The camera angle marks the specific location at which the movie camera or video camera is placed to take a shot. A scene may be shot from several camera angles simultaneously. Where the camera is placed in relation to the subject can affect the way the viewer perceives the subject. We: He used we as to show that basically slaves WERE NOT alone in this at all. In a way at that time, every single slave was connected with each other no matter what.

Thou: From what i have seen, Whittier is using "Thou" to refer to God. For example: "We are fools, but Thou art wise"

For the devices, he's using Anaphora for "Thou" and maybe Conduplicatio for "We".
