g whatsoever. Would anyone mind help telling me why my answer is incorrect and what the correct answer is? Thanks Circle 1 hydrogen ion attached to the oxygen from one molecule and 1 hydroxide ion (OH-) from the other molecule. This is his explanation of why it's wrong: Using the same picture circle the OH on one molecule and the H on the other (the one attaches to the O). Those are going to be removed to make water. Dehydration synthesis. BTW sorry this isn't college bio, its high school, sorry.
