A suspense is not the climax, since there can be suspense many times before the climax. Tension is not necessarily an action either. Suspense doesn't have to happen early or later, but when it is meant to happen. Also, there's no required number of plot lines. With that, we can discard options A, B and C.

By definition, suspense is: <em>"the feeling of excitement or nervousness that you have when you are waiting for something to happen"</em> and tension is a <em>"mental or emotional strain"</em>. Which are really close to their definitions in storytelling:

D. Suspense is the feeling of wanting to know what happens next in a story, while tension is the feeling produced by a story's unresolved conflict.

Read the excerpt from The Riddle of the Rosetta Stone.
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

One of the three inscriptions was written in Greek.

Explanation:

The Rosetta Stone was the key to deciphering the Egyptian hieroglyphs because it was written in three languages. The part of the content written in Ancient Greek was easily readable since language is well-known by scholars.

The Stone also included two forms of Ancient Egyptian, demotic script and hieroglyphics. Thanks to the provided translation, the hieroglyphic form of writing was deciphered.
