Read the excerpt below and answer the question. [B]ut the moment Don Quixote perceived them he said to his squire, “Either I am

mistaken, or this is going to be the most famous adventure that has ever been seen, for those black bodies we see there must be, and doubtless are, magicians who are carrying off some stolen princess in that coach, and with all my might I must undo this wrong." "This will be worse than the windmills,” said Sancho. “Look, senor; those are friars of St. Benedict, and the coach plainly belongs to some travellers: I tell you to mind well what you are about and don’t let the devil mislead you." “I have told thee already, Sancho,” replied Don Quixote, “that on the subject of adventures thou knowest little. What I say is the truth, as thou shalt see presently." What central theme is illustrated in this excerpt from Cervantes’s Don Quixote? man versus nature fantasy versus reality tradition versus change individual versus society

fantasy versus reality

Don Quixote has it in his head that these friars are evil magicians and that he has to save some damsel from them. This is not the reality, which is a central theme in the novel. At many points Quixote confuses things for being something other than they actually are, and it gets him in fights he can't win and in trouble sometimes.

Why did Mr M. Hamel call the French language the most beautiful?
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer:

Mr. M. Hamel called the French language the most beautiful because according to him, it was the clearest and most logical of all languages.

Explanation:

This is based on the book The Last Lesson by Alphonse Deudet where a French teacher Mr. Hamel considers the French language as the best language ever because he felt it was logical and pleasing.

He requested that his students protect their local language French and never ever forget it as it should be a source of pride to them.
