PLEASE HELP! TRUE OR FALSE! According to Coleridge in his Biographia Literaria, it is legitimate to call any composition compose
tresset_1 [31]

True

In Coleridge's Biographia Literaria, he says that it is legitimate to call any composition composed using rhyme and meter a poem. In the text he says, "If a man chooses to call every composition a poem, which is rhyme, or measure, or both, I must leave his opinion uncontroverted." He goes on to repeat this when he says, "the composition will be a poem, merely because it is distinguished from composition in prose by metre, or by rhyme, or by both conjointly." In both of these he asserts that a poem is a composition with rhyme and meter.

What should a writer plan to include in the end of a narrative essay?
11Alexandr11 [23.1K]
I would say a reflection on what was learned, or a discussion about how the experience caused change, but i would more likely go for the first one that i suggested. Hope i helped :)

Which lines in these excerpts from Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice are examples of free indirect speech?
Lina20 [59]

When looking at literature, direct speech is easily discernible because of the quotation marks seen before the quotation. Indirect speech, however, is not so easily discernible because there are no quotation marks that make it easy for readers to see where the speech is. There are, however, ques that clue readers in on where indirect speech begins as indirect speech in literature is where what someone said is being discussed, described, or reiterated. Words to look out for could be “he said,” “she tells,” “all chanted,” “most talked about.” While there are descriptions of what someone was thinking, there are no descriptions of speech. As such, and with this in mind, there does not appear to be any sort of indirect speech included in the excerpts provided.

In each of the following sets of words underline the one word in each set that does not belong, then write a sentence explaining
diamong [38]

Answer:

1. Spirited does not belong

All of these words have to do with something that is bad and unpleasant, but spirited means enthusiasm.

2. Indignant does not belong

Indignant is not a word that goes with the others, because it doesn't mean being inventive.

3. Interjection does not belong

Fatigue, exhaustion, and lethargy all have to do with being exhausted. Interjection is the act of interrupting someone, with doesn't have anything to do with exhaustion.

4. Courge does not belong

Courge is a food, while the other words mean a disease.

5. Peevish does not belong

Peevish is the only word of this set that does not belong because it does not mean irritable like the rest of them do.

6. Incoherent does not mean "not decent," like the rest of the words do.
