Hello!

Robin can clean 72 rooms in 6 days. How many rooms can Robin clean in 9 days?

We have a proportional magnitude (directly proportional), if we increase the number of days for cleaning, obviously we will have more rooms cleaned, then:

clean rooms __________ days

72 ----------------------------------- 6

y ------------------------------------- 9

\dfrac{72}{y} = \dfrac{6}{9}

multiply the means by the extremes

6*y = 72*9

6\:y = 648

y = \dfrac{648}{6}

\boxed{\boxed{y = 108}}\Longleftarrow(clean\:rooms)\end{array}}\qquad\checkmark

Answer:

108 clean rooms in 9 days

cake batter poured into a pan creates a circular batter pattern whose radius increases at a constant rate of 1 in/sec. at what r
docker41 [41]

Answer:

8 π .

Step-by-step explanation:

radius increases at a constant rate of 1 in/sec.

dr / dt = 1

where r is radius .

radius after 4 sec

r = 1 x 4 = 4 in

area A = π r²

differentiating both sides

dA / dt = 2 π r dr / dt

Putting dr / dt  = 1 , r = 4 in

dA / dt = 2 π x 4 x 1

= 8 π sq in per sec.

Area increases at the rate of 8 π per sec.

Furkat [3]

Answer:

1/2 of the lasagna was left or 6/12

Step-by-step explanation:

Her family ate 1 whole pan of the first lasagna and 1/2 of the second pan. If they ate 1/2 from the second pan then there will be 1/2 left or in this case 6/12 because she cut it in 12 pieces.

Hope this helped :)
