What are the implications of the opening sentence, “The year was 2081 and everyone was finally equal”? this is from Harrison Ber
Mrac [35]
First of all, it implies that this is occurring in the future, but not extremely far like 10,000 years from now; it's a reasonable amount of time away.  Second of all, because of the word "finally," we can infer that everyone in that society is equal and that the general consensus about the equality is good.  Because the author uses the word "finally," it makes it seem like they've finally made it through a struggle to reach equality.

The song that Millie hoped to play in the talent show was written by Alejandro.
marishachu [46]

B - Alejandro wrote the song that Millie hoped to play in the talent show.

To have an active voice the subject should come before the verb (Alejando wrote and Millie hoped) the other options had the predicate before the verb and had the action happening to them.
