Answer:

Intention, meaning, skill, aesthetics, and preconceptions

Explanation:

Though art is not a black and white concept, most of the artist when expressing themselves, have initially an Intention and some preconceptions in order to first create, either by drawing, or sketching their ideas. These preconceptions come from culture, memory and information from the environment. Using these, the meaning starts appearing, because, sometimes this is not done intentionally, it is all according to the skill and the medium used to declare the idea.

Most important is the aesthetics, before known as beauty, since this is how the art product impacts the viewer, or the person who is living up the art. Whatever is the movement that this image/sculpture/melody provokes to the subject is actually the most important criteria, since it is here where all the other fours criteria meet.

ollegr [7]

Answer:

In 1936 Florence Thompson allowed Dorothea Lange to photograph her family because she thought it might help the plight of the working poor. "She always wanted a better life," her daughter later said. Lange took six pictures. Dorothea Lange took this photograph in 1936, while employed by the U.S. government's Farm Security Administration formed during the Great Depression to raise awareness of and provide aid to impoverished farmers. the image of a worried but resilient mother was so powerful that it prompted the government to send 20,000 pounds of food to relieve starvation in a migrant worker camp, and may have helped inspire John Steinbeck's literary classic The Grapes of Wrath.

Two Women by Frida Kahlo. Two native Mexican women sit together holding hands against dense tropical foliage. their hearts are p
icang [17]

Explanation:

The Frida on the left wears a Victorian styled laced wedding dress, the right wears the traditional dress of the Oaxaca women of Mexico. She Explains that the Freda on the right is the one her husband used to love( the got a divorce, this painting was done after). The one in the white wedding dress is the one he no longer loves (they do end up remarriages). Holding hands the loved and unloved Freda are distinct entities but united of the cultures of Europe in Mexico. Freda is also quoted speaking about the peace as “ Nothing but the representation of my loneliness. What I mean to say is, I resorted to myself; I sought my own help.” The dramatic stormy sky behind them gives a feeling of dread and uneasiness. Expose hearts have been said represent her divorce from her husband. This is all cited from the Art Assignments video I would watch I if you need a better understanding or just because it’s a great video.
