Well, generally you should list the answers to choose from, but the Constitutional Amendment gives citizens the right to practice religion, have freedom of speech and the press, to peacefully gather (assemble) and petition against the government, or protest.

Explanation: "Mayor Dixon" has an OPINION (bias) that he wants teens to get afterschool jobs. Bias is not facts, but opinions. A would not be it because even though it may be offensive, it's not just someone's opinion on the topic. B isn't it, since the student is asking for help. And its not C either because that is a fact, and if it was biased against the teens, that would be contradicting the statement since its showing that the teens DID do something, and volunteered, sort of like a job.

This quote focuses on the idea that sometimes, no matter how hard people try, <em>they cannot achieve their goals or deepest desires.</em> They reach out further and further for one thing or someone and <em>never </em>get to it. Some never lose hope and "stretch out their arms farther", but that doesn't mean they'll get there. They have more optimism. These final words are just about Gatsby's struggle to achieve the American dream and his dream girl and the unfortunate events that follow his endeavors.
