In chapter one, Mitty Blake has to rush tofinish a term paper for advanced biology.Every weekend, Mitty and his parents goto their weekend home in Connecticut.While Mitty is there, he finds four books onsmallpox, his biology topic. In one of thebooks there is an envelope containingsmallpox scabs that he accidentallyinhales.
