The result of the Battle of Bunker Hill was an "<span>unqualified British Victory", although a better definition would be that it was a "Pyrrhic" victory for the British, sine they lost many troops. </span>
Mississippi became wealthy and powerful because of its location on the Mississippi river and its position towards the middle of the nation. The Mississippi river was used to carry goods up and down America, and anyone going West would most likely pass through Mississippi, adding to its revenue and, therefore, wealth.
The main grievance of the colonists leading up to the Revolution was
that Britain was taxing them too heavily. Less taxation would have led
to less protest, which could have inevitably led to the colonies staying
under British possession.
