You may write either a letter to a friend or family member back home or a guide about immigration for people hoping to come to t

he United States, to explain what the process will be like. Your letter should be written from the point of view of an Asian or European immigrant in the early 1900s.
Letter - be sure to consider the following in your response:

Where are you from?
Why did you leave your homeland?
How was your journey to the United States?
What happened to you when you arrived?
What is your new life like in America? Where do you live and what do you do every day?
What difficulties do you face because of who you are, where you came from, or where you live now?

For the answer to the question above,

Dear John,

Our journey from Vietnam has been very rough, with so many sick people on this ship, yet it would be better than the czar's army. I will write again when I am ready for a wife. The Americans here did not take to kindly to us immigrating. I hope this life works out.

Sincerely,
Miss Philadelphia

Who were the federalists and the anti-federalists, what were the issues that divided them, and why did the federalists win?
ivolga24 [154]
These groups were in their prime during the age of the Constitution. The Federalists were pro-Constitution, while the Anti-Federalists were not. The Federalists did not fear a large government, while the Anti-Federalists did. Famous Federalists include Patrick Henry, and famous Anti-Federalists include Alexander Hamilton. The Federalists won this debate because the addition of the Bill of Rights to the Constitution brought favor among the Anti-Federalists.
