The Union and Confederate strategies Had long lasting impacts on the American society. It resulted in centralization of government.

Union strategy was to win the war by conquering the south, It made a plan called Anaconda plan. As per this plan, the strategy of the union was to block the ports of the south so that there can be no export as well as import and with that, The Union army captures the confederate capital as per this plan.

The Confederate strategy was to withdraw itself from the Union with the help of all the slave states.

Strategies of Union and Confederate had a great impact on American Society. It had long-lasting Effects on society. Many soldiers lost their lives. This civil war was won by unions because they had immense industrial and political support.
