D. Dialogue

A dialogue is a conversation between characters. This is often used in novels, movies and theater. When there is a dialogue one can get to know the characters who are speaking as well, as their view on a given situation. In this case there is a conversation between a woman and a man. Their tone is challenging and therefore one knows is not the anticlimax. The anticlimax comes after the climax, when things calm down. On the other hand, there is no imagery, nothing is being described. Finally, a contrivance aims to show a sense of artificiality.
