Spike also told Mikkel that he would be willing to sell his old equipment to him for a good price. That was the kind of break Mikkel needed. He knew that with the right equipment he would be able to start his own DJ business. He felt very fortunate to have a friend like Spike.

I believe that C is the best answer. A and D are out easy beacuse they don't go well with the plot and B is incorrect because it mentions too much about Spike and not about Mikkel's own passion to become a DJ while still telling how he got the equipment.
