Jake- John! I have been doing amazing! Wow, I can’t even remember the last time I met you!

John- Yes, I know, how is school? Have you been doing good in academics?

Jake- Why yes! I am currently the 3rd best in my class overall, what about you?

John- Same! Except the fact that I’m the 4th best in my class.

Jake- Which class are you in?

John- I’m in 8C, what about you?

Jake- I’m in 8A!

John- I just wanted to ask, what is your favourite subject?

Jake- That must be Science!

John- Mine is Math.

Just then the school bell rang and a new class was starting.

Jake- Oh, looks like the bell rang, gotta get back to class.

John- Yes, same. Catch ya later!

16) Andrew / have / what hobbies
alisha [4.7K]

Hi !!

Andrew / have / what hobbies

What hobbies does Andrew have ?

When using the present tense, you must use the auxiliary  'do' or 'does' (3rd pers. sing. )  + the base form of the verb for interrogative and negative forms.

interrogative noun(<em>what, where, when ...) </em> + do/does + subject + base form of the verb + ?

For example in the negative form, it would be ==>

<em>Andrew doesn't (does + not) have hobbies.</em>

<em>Subject + do/does + not + Base Form (don't /doesn't in shortening form)</em>

<em />

In the simple present form, ===>

Andrew has hobbies.

hope this helps :)
